CEEPUS Program – Central European Exchange Program for University Studies

The CEEPUS program (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) aims to support academic exchange in education and professional development for students and academic staff. It enables closer cooperation between universities in the participating countries by funding academic mobility.

The following types of support are available under the CEEPUS program:
· Short-term scholarships for research internships within Academic Networks
· Short-term scholarships for research internships under the "Freemover" scheme
· Short-term scholarships for participation in summer schools and intensive courses

Eligible applicants for CEEPUS international scholarships include:
· Students
· Doctoral candidates
· Academic staff

The member countries of the CEEPUS Program are: Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and selected universities from Kosovo (Pristina, Prizren, Peja).

Under the CEEPUS III program, more than 500 Polish students and doctoral candidates, as well as around 300 academic staff, participate annually in various forms of education and professional development. In turn, Poland hosts an average of about 300 international students and doctoral candidates, and around 200 academic teachers each year.
